To choose the winning books of the Cuatrogatos Foundation Award 2017, a readers committee took more than 1,000 publications for children and young people from 175 publishers from 20 countries into consideration.Among the 20 winning works are books of images, books-album, poems, short stories and novels that are part of the catalogs of the publishers from Argentina (4islas, Calibroscopio, Edelvives, Ediciones SM, Quipu, Treintayseis, Uranito Editores), Brazil (Global Editora), Chile (Ekaré Sur), Colombia (Tragaluz editores), Spain (Ediciones SM, Faktoría K de Libros / Kalandraka, Libre Albedrío, Lóguez, Totopo Brown, Yekibud Yekinabud), and Mexico (Ediciones El Naranjo, Editorial Norma, Fondo de Cultura Económica).In this opportunity, in addition to awarding the 20 awards and highlighting 12 finalists, we distributed a list of 90 titles that are recommended for their literary and plastic values.The graphic image that identified the prize was created by the renowned Argentine illustrator Claudia Degliuomini.-
