The 20 Winning Books of the Cuatrogatos Foundation Award 2016
This year, the jury evaluate about 1,000 books for children and young people published in Spanish by 127 publishers from 16 different countries. The list of the 20 winning books of the Cuatrogatos Foundation 2016 Award include albums, picture books, poems, stories and novels intended to a very diverse range of recipients: from infants to young adults.The winning works are part of the catalogs of publishing stamps based in Argentina (Del Naranjo, Limonero), Chile (Amanuta, Ocho Libros), Colombia (Santillana, Ediciones SM, Editorial Norma), Spain (Bridge / La Galera, Bruño, Ediciones SM, Editorial Juventud, La Fragatina, Kalandraka), Mexico (Fondo de Cultura Económica / Fundación para las Letras Mexicanas), and Venezuela (Ediciones Ekaré).In addition to the winners, we highlight 12 books that were finalists and a selection of 80 recommended works.The graphic image of the Cuatrogatos Foundation Award 2017 was created by the outstanding Chilean artist July Macuada.-
